The 54COACH programs are designed for coaches and teachers who genuinely want to grow the game of golf and want to help golfers play better ON the golf course. As a coach you will learn both golf skills and human skills to complement your technical instruction. You will learn how to coach players to become more self-reliant and to be comfortable becoming their own best coach. You will have the opportunity to get clear with why you coach by addressing your own intentions, values and beliefs about your coaching.

Coaching for the Future 2.0
We are very excited about this key update to our signature 3-day program for coaches. Over the years, we’ve been challenged in trying to cover everything we want to over the course of 3 days. Now that our virtual golf school, MYGAME, has launched, we can accomplish this goal in the newly created CFTF 2.0!
MYGAME is a self-paced, interactive, virtual golf school which teaches the 9 human performance skills – 8 Essential Playing Skills plus Master of Variability. Enrollment in MYGAME, the complete curriculum (a $600 value), is included in your registration fee for CFTF 2.0 and is a prerequisite for the in-person, 3-day school. Upon registration and receipt of your deposit, you’ll be enrolled in MYGAME and will receive access instructions separately. By completing the MYGAME curriculum prior to the CFTF 2.0 school, you’ll gain a foundational understanding of these skills.
During our 3 days together, we’ll go more in depth into the Essential Playing Skills. We’ll share more about our coaching of these skills and have more practical application of the VISION54 skills. We will focus on the human skills of the game and how to coach golfers to learn to manage themselves while playing. You will learn more about these human skills, how to coach them on the course, and you will reflect on and train your own possibilities as a coach. Each day will be a mixture of presentations and exercises, both indoors and outdoors (weather permitting).

Coaching Boot Camp
During this two-day 54COACH program, you will immerse deeper into the VISION54 coaching skills. You will spend more time practicing these coaching skills together with the VISION54 Team. You will go deeper with observing, listening, asking questions, and giving feedback to help golfers discover their unique qualities. We will also share some of our latest learning around coaching and performance. Each day will be a mixture of presentations and exercises, both indoors and outdoors (weather permitting).

Tournament Coaching
During this two-day 54COACH program you will learn what to coach and how to coach when you are working with a player on the golf course or at a tournament. As a participant you will learn fundamental coaching skills – what practice is appropriate, what coaching is appropriate and when. You will learn how to improve your observation skills and how to give appropriate and timely feedback. Effective goal setting, emotional management, and creating a culture for productive practice and feedback are just a few of the concepts that will be explored. You will observe players during practice and tournament rounds during which you’ll have specific assignments. The observations will be debriefed and discussed as a group afterwards. This 54COACH program combines lectures, discussions, experiences and practices.
