Lynn & Pia on body presenceDo you want to go deeper with your best combination of Balance, Tempo, and Tension Awareness for your swing and stroke (BTT)? We just completed the newest training addition to our Performance Skills Coaching – the Signature Swing Series!

 

BTT is foundational to manage for your swing and stroke to stay functional. The state of your body is dynamic and ever-changing from day to day and during the round. You can make your technique function better by learning to calibrate your best BTT.

 

If you easily lose your balance, who knows what can happen to your position at impact. If you swing faster than your body and club can sync together, it will take you out of sequence. If your grip pressure suddenly tightens at impact when you chip, you will most likely not like where the ball ends up.

    >> Before you even start doing any BTT practice (or any other golf practice), make sure you are present and can feel your body.

     

    >> It’s easy to be a “neck up” golfer and think too much. When you think a lot, you diminish your ability to sense and feel the body.

You know that you want to be mentally present in your Play Box to play your best. It’s equally important to be present and sensing your body.

 

An easy way to get going with this is to make some practice swings and put your focus on feeling different body parts.

 

>>  Make four swings and feel your feet, feel your lower body, feel your core, and feel your upper body.

 

Are you able to stay “feel present” to each area from start to finish of the motion?

Performance Skills Coaching

 

Performance Skills CoachingWe launched Performance Skills Coaching – our newest in-depth, self-coaching option in the Spring with the Performance Routine Series. We’re excited to add to it the new Signature Swing Series!

 

The Signature Swing Series consists of the three physical Human Skills of the Game – Balance, Tempo, and Tension Awareness (BTT). Together, these skills allow you to create and maintain an athletic state in which you can play your best game. BTT is the bridge between your physical and technical skills. The Signature Swing Series includes specific training for each individual skill, plus a fourth comprehensive segment on integration training which combines all three so you can create your unique performance state.

 

We gathered our most in-depth knowledge – ALL that we know about each skill and our best exercises – together in this comprehensive training for those of you who want to take it to the next level of Mastery. You choose your journey to Mastery by focusing on the integration of these skills offered in the Series, or take it one skill at a time.

 

The fee for the Series is $100, or choose the individual skills for $30 each. The materials are yours to keep to continue practicing and building your training library.

May was an excited month of recognition for Pia! She began the month by being honored as an LPGA Pioneer during the Founders Cup in New Jersey, and ended the month being inducted into the newly-formed Swedish Golf Hall of Fame!
